We will be spending our 7 nights in this estate manor.  Two sisters per room (separate beds), with private bathroom.

Our accommodations are a privately owned country mansion and rooms are all different. However even the smallest room is larger than a typical European hotel room, and each room has its own dedicated bathroom. We will assign rooms based on first come first serve, as well as individual needs.

Newgrange & Knowth
Newgrange

Newgrange is the best known Irish passage tomb and dates to c.3,200BC. It is believed to be associated with the people of the Goddess Danu, a race of super-natural beings who according to tradition ruled Ireland before the coming of the Celts and afterwards retreated into the fairy mounds and forts.

Knowth
Healing Wells

Healing Wells are ancient places of power associated with local deities.  Their healing properties have been in existence for thousands of years.

Fairy Glen

We will be visiting a mystical walled forest fairy glen, to invoke the fairies within this thinly veiled place.

Cliffs of Slieve League

Cliffs of Slieve League - The highest sea cliffs in Europe…. with a sheer drop of 2000 feet into the Atlantic ocean, Sliabh Liag Cliffs (Slieve League) are twice as high as the Cliffs of Moher. Standing on the top of the cliffs, it feels like you’re at the very magickal edge of the world.

Town of Donegal & Castle

We will take a road trip north, stopping in the beautiful town of Donegal. You will have a few hours to explore the town shops, one of the finest Gaelic castles in Ireland and pubs.

Strandhill

Strandhill - We travel west to the Irish Coast to the quant seaside town of Strandhill, where we will indulge in a Seaweed Bath in fully connect with the energies of the mythological creatures of the sea

Knocknarea

Maeve's Mountain. The grave of the legendary Queen Maeve, a manifestation of the Goddess Maeve. We will make the journey to the top of Maeve’s Mountain to make an offering to her grave.

Rathcroghan

We will visit the royal capital of Connacht, home of the Warrior Queen Medb (Maeve). This is also thought to be the resting place of the last Pagan King of Ireland. We will visit the Rath (hill) as well as the Cave of the Cats, thought to be the entrance of the Underworld, where the Morrigan emerges each Samhain to lead the wild hunt.

Knocknashee

to Knocknashee, also known as the Hill of the Fairies.  The legend is that the Sidhe (pronounced Shee) retreated into the mounds to another dimension, or otherworld, and left the topside world for the humans.  Some believe that these mounds are portals to that otherworld, and during the periods of time around Samhain and Beltaine the veil between these worlds is thin enough for contact with this magickal ancient race of beings.

Benbulben

We’ll take a scenic drive around Benbulben Mountain, an iconic landmark of Irish folklore, myth and legend.

Drumcliffe

Drumcliffe is set against the striking backdrop of the Benbulben Mountains. It is the best known as the resting place of the famous Irish poet W.B. Yeats.

We will also visit the quaint gift and coffee shop there.

Lisadell House
Lissadelll-House

Take a guided tour of Lissadell House, the famous childhood home of Constance Markievicz. Constance was one of the leaders of the 1916 Rising, and was the first woman to be elected to Dáil Eireann, where she served as Minister for Labour (thus becoming the first woman minister in a modern Western European democracy).

Hill of Tara

An ancient archaeological site that contains a number of monuments. It was the seat of the High King of Ireland and a sacred site associated with Kingship rituals.

Glencar Waterfall

This magickal place inspired Yeats to write poetry about fairies including the famous poem, “The Stolen Child.”

Neolithic Sacred Sites
Caves of Kesh

Caves of Kesh, also known as Keash Coran are an ancient passage tomb cluster that is believed to predate the Pyramids of Egypt by 500-800 years.

 

There are many mythological stories associated with the Caves of Keash, including the legend of three sisters, called the “Hags of Winter,” where they set a trap to capture Fionn, and bound him with a magic cord that made him a weak as an old man.

BONUS

This tour has become a tour that follows our wyld heart's desire. I thrive on being known for adding "bonus shit!" Sometimes life creates opportunities for added adventures and I'm not one to pass by such gifts. Be prepared to visit many more enchanted and sacred places. This is truly a mystical journey of a lifetime!
