- Tools – incense & lighter
Find a sacred spot either outside or inside (by a window) to soak in the power of the moon (even if the moon is behind the clouds). Light your incense, close your eyes and bask in the energy of Grandmother Moon. And just breathe…. breathe in light and breathe out dark. To breathe in light, imagine bright golden light entering and filling your entire body. To breathe out negative energy, imagine dark smoky clouds leaving your body. Breath light in, breath dark out. Allow the smoke of the incense to clear the unhealthy energy away. When you feel ready, take a moment and reflect on a situation that has troubled you. This could be a habit, person or anything that has lowered your energy. Ask Grandmother Moon to assist you in forgiving and releasing this situation. Close your eyes and imagine this situation and see it being healed and forgiven. Really picture and visualize it. Surround the situation with love, acceptance and healing energy.
And when you feel complete, open your eyes and see the energy leave your body and say out loud:
“I forgive you and let you go.” (say three times.)
And so it is.
Trust that Grandmother Moon will handle it from here. Let go and let Grandmother Moon.
Give thanks, put your incense out and treat yourself to a lovely soothing bath.
