Yurch

A Gathering to Awaken HER-story

Dear Sister,

The Yurch was born from a call I could no longer ignore. This is not one of my usual circles. It is a sacred gathering space to study, reflect, and remember the stories that were buried, silenced, forgotten… especially the voices of the mothers, the healers, the mystics, and the women who carried wisdom in their bones.

I grew up within church walls and honour what those spaces offered - devotion, community, ritual, and a relationship with the sacred.

And yet… I felt something missing. HER voice.

The Yurch is our playful reclaiming of that word. A blending of yurt + church - rooted in the understanding that sacred spaces do not only live in buildings or traditions… they live in circles, in stories, in the land, and within us.

This gathering exists to awaken HER-story. To make space for the Divine Feminine alongside all that came before. To remember what was forgotten and honour what still lives inside us.

The Yurch belongs to no single teacher and no one tradition.

When you say, “I’m going to Yurch,” you are naming a return - to your body’s wisdom, your intuition, your remembering.

No hierarchy.
No dogma.
Just gathering.
Just questioning.
Just remembering… together.

Welcome home.

If you’d like to catch up on past teachings or sit with current themes, recordings are available on YouTube and new teachings will continue to be added as The Yurch unfolds.

How We Gather

We gather close to the first Sunday of each month, here in the yurt, beginning with tea, sitting in circle, and sharing about 1.5 hours of soulful exploration.

Each gathering carries a theme. Sometimes we’ll be guided by story, sometimes ritual, reading, or shared reflection. We’ll learn, listen, and remember, together.

We’ve just wrapped up our series with Mary Magdalene… and while I have a feeling she may visit us again, for now we are closing that chapter with deep gratitude.

As we move forward, we’ll be diving into Sophia - the wisdom of the heart, the quiet inner knowing that has always been there. I’m not quite sure how long this next series will unfold… but our first gathering is June 7th, and it is open to anyone who feels called.

This space is offered by donation, given from the heart, to support tea, candles, and shared offerings.

What to Bring

  • A sacred journal, pen and favourite oracle/tarot deck

  • An open heart and listening spirit

  • (Optional: donation)

You are welcome to join at any time.
There is no beginning you’ve missed and no need to catch up. Each gathering stands on its own, offering a teaching, a remembering, and a message meant for whoever arrives - whether it’s your first time or your fiftieth. Trust that whatever you step into will meet you exactly where you are.

This is not a promise of what it will become - this is a sacred beginning.
A space to return to yourself. To the voice of the Feminine. To the lineage that lives in your bones.

Let’s remember together.
