There is a quiet honour in being invited into the sacred moments of saying goodbye.

As a Life Celebrant, I am devoted to creating ceremonies that honour each life with meaning, dignity, presence, and care.

For over 20 years, I have supported individuals and groups through personal growth, ritual, reflection, and meaningful life experiences. Becoming a Celebrant felt like a natural next step, especially in supporting families through loss, remembrance, and honouring the lives of those they love.

​

My approach is warm, grounded, attentive, and deeply respectful. I believe each ceremony should feel authentic to the person being honoured and supportive to those gathering to remember them.

​

Every service is thoughtfully created in collaboration with family and loved ones - reflecting the unique story, personality, values, and spirit of the person being celebrated. Together, we create a ceremony that offers space for storytelling, reflection, laughter, tears, connection, and love.

Why Ceremony Matters

More and more often, people say, “Don’t make a fuss over me,” or “I don’t need a funeral.” And while those wishes often come from humility, love, or not wanting to burden others… ceremonies are not only for the person who has passed. They are also for those who remain.

 

Ceremony gives us permission to pause.

To gather.

To witness a life.

To speak the stories.

To remember the moments that mattered.

To laugh, cry, honour, and begin making sense of a world that suddenly feels changed.

There is something deeply healing about coming together in community and saying: This life mattered. This person mattered. This love mattered.

​

Celebration of Life ceremonies offer a container for grief and heart healing. They remind us that while a chapter has ended, our connection does not disappear. Something else begins. A different kind of relationship.

 

One where we carry those we love in our hearts, in our breath, in traditions, memories, signs, songs, and in the small meaningful moments where we continue to feel them near.

Endings hold so much love. And it is my privilege to help hold space for both grief and love in this tender season of transition.
